PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric round-type connector 1 which attains a stable grounding structure of a grounding lug 10 and a shell 28 without the need of getting rid of surface treatment of the shell beforehand. SOLUTION: With the electric round-type connector 1 consisting of a required number of contacts 24, an insulator 22 holding and fixing the contacts 24, a shell 28 arranged to cover the insulator 22, and a grounding lug 10 of a structure contacting with the shell and one of the contacts, the grounding lug 10 is provided with a contacting means (fixing means) with a contact 24 and also an elastic piece 14 bent toward the direction of the shell 28 to achieve a grounding structure. As a contacting means, the earth lag is made nearly cylindrical having enough elasticity to cover one contact. Further, at least one corner part 18, 19 is provided at a free end side of the elastic piece 14, and that, at least one folded part 16 is desired to be set near the free end side.
