PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte, electrolyte solution, or a solid electrolyte and a battery using the same with excellent cycle characteristics used for an electrochemical device such as a lithium battery, a lithium-ion battery, and an electric double-layer capacitor. SOLUTION: It is an electrolyte for an electrochemical device composed of a compound expressed in formula (1) and chemical structural formulae expressed in formula (2), formula (3), and formula (4), and an electrolyte solution or a solid electrolyte, and a battery using the above electrolyte.
