SCANNING CONVERSION APPARATUS AND SCANNING CONVERSION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method which can convert sequential scan data into interlaced scan data, and/or an apparatus and a method which can convert interlaced scan data into sequential scan data. SOLUTION: In the scanning conversion apparatus, a first converter converts input interlaced scan data into sequential scan data, a second converter converts sequential scan data outputted from the first converter into interlaced scan data. The scanning conversion apparatus of the invention generates interlaced scan data synchronized to the sequential scan data, and can simultaneously drive display units using a different scanning system.
