<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose acylate dope solution suitable for a cellulose acylate film with small retardation change relative to humidity and for a method for producing the same, and to provide a liquid crystal display device from which light does not easily leak and which has high display quality by using the resulting film as an optical film or a protective film for polarizing plates. <P>SOLUTION: The cellulose acylate dope solution is prepared by dissolving a cellulose acylate, a norbornene compound, a thiol compound and a polymerization initiator in an organic solvent. A method for producing a cellulose acylate film comprises a film-forming step for casting the cellulose acylate dope solution, a step for irradiating the resulting film with an active energy ray to polymerize the same, and a heating and drying step for removing the organic solvent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
