<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient reduction method by which, in a wet copper refining process including a stage where a copper raw material comprising copper sulfide mineral is subjected to chlorine leaching; a stage where a reducing agent is added to the leaching produced liquid to reduce copper ions; and a stage where the copper ions are subjected to electrolytic winning, on the stage of reducing the copper ions, cupric chloride ions are reduced, as the reducing agent, using copper sulfide concentrate with inexpensive brass ore as the main mineral, and a reduction produced liquid in which cuprous chloride ions are present at a high ratio can be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: The method of reducing cupric chloride ions is characterized in that, on the stage of reducing copper ions, as the reducing agent, copper sulfide concentrate with brass ore in which the content of moisture is controlled to 4 to 15 wt.% as the main mineral is added to a leaching produced liquid heated at 100 to 120°C, and thereafter, reduction reaction is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
