<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method by which arsenic can be removed from germanium and also further removal of arsenic from germanium of lower arsenic content can be attained, because of recent demands for lower impurity content and lower arsenic content when germanium is utilized highly as a material. <P>SOLUTION: In this method for removing arsenic from arsenic-containing germanium, chlorine is added to a germanium chloride solution and then metal copper is added to remove arsenic. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
