PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording paper having a reduced weight, without strike through on a perfecting printing, nor feeding or transfer failure of paper due to the deterioration of rigidity when it is used as an electrophotographic paper, and which is well balanced between a printing density and an ink drying property, and hardly occurs paper breaking in a papermaking machine when it is used as an inkjet recording paper. SOLUTION: The paper has a basis weight of <=62 g/m2, an opacity of >=80% and Clark stiffness value (MD) of >=60 cm3/100. Further, the paper contains 10-45 wt.% of a high-yield pulp and 10-20 wt.% of an internally added sizing agent. |
