GENE HVD1 INDUCED BY SALT STRESS

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect a new gene capable of giving salt stress resistance to plants and determine its structure. SOLUTION: Barley HVD1 gene consisting of the new gene induced by salt stress is given. This gene is the one encoding RNA helicase and it is thought that salt resistance can be given to plants by stabilizing the structure of RNA.
