PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet apparatus or the like which can improve a head cleaning efficiency by quickly making suction from a cap part by a pump part a maximum flow velocity, and can lessen consumption of a liquid such as ink. SOLUTION: The liquid jet apparatus includes: a liquid jet head 20a which has both a nozzle opening part that ejects the liquid and a nozzle formation part 21 equipped with the nozzle opening part, and which ejects the liquid to a target; a cap part disposed to the nozzle formation part to cover the nozzle opening part; the pump part for sucking the liquid in the cap part; and a liquid ejecting part 20b for filling the liquid into the cap part and the pump part. A waste liquid tank which stores the liquid sucked by the pump part is connected to the pump part. A waste liquid supply part for supplying the waste liquid stored in the waste liquid tank to the liquid ejecting part is formed in the waste liquid tank. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
