PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and effectively use a large-capacitance region while executing charge/discharge in a range of large capacitance and in a range of not greatly affecting a service lifetime. SOLUTION: A capacitor storage power supply 1 is composed of a plurality of capacitors that respectively have inflected charge/discharge characteristics in which a voltage change rate by constant-current charge/discharge becomes small in a high-voltage region bordering near a flexion-pint voltage with respect to a low-voltage region. The capacitor storage power supply is provided with a flexion-point voltage detection circuit 11 for detecting a flexion-point voltage of each capacitor on the basis of the set voltage Vbot, an overvoltage detection circuit 12 for detecting an overvoltage Vful of each capacitor, and an initialization circuit 13 that bypasses a charging current of each capacitor with an initialization voltage Vini by selection of an initialization mode. Control of the charge/discharge is executed by generating a discharge stop signal on the basis of a detection signal of any one of the flexion-point voltages, by generating a charge stop signal on the basis of a detection signal of any one of the overvoltages, and by generating an end signal of initialization charge on the basis of a plurality of bypass operation signals.
