PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate disconnection of a detection coil in an oscillation circuit using an LC resonance circuit from a two-wire output of a DC two-wire type proximity switch. SOLUTION: In a disconnection failure of a detection coil L of an LC resonance circuit 10, it is set to present an opening action and an intermediate current is outputted to which a current regulated by constant voltage generating means D1, D2 and a first resistor Re is added in addition to a leak current during the opening action.
