PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a program search signal to be recorded without bothering a photographer. SOLUTION: A still camera 10 is provided with a timing signal 13 for generating a photographic timing signal in response to operation of a release button 11. The photographic timing button is caused to be wirelessly transmitted to a video camera 10 from the still camera 10. The video camera 20 records the program search signal for finding the top of a photographed scene corresponding to the timing in a recording medium 25 when the photographic timing signal is received.
