A VoIP terminal providing a multi-call service and a method therefor are provided to relay packets by using IP address conversion so as to support the multi-call service, thereby simply providing the multi-call service to a user without the additional extension or change of a proxy server. An IP(Internet Protocol) terminal(100) performs an SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) user agent function and provides a VoIP call service according to a predetermined protocol. A multi-call providing VoIP terminal(200) registers and manages the IP terminal, and directly processes packets according to the calling state of the registered IP terminal or relays the packets to the IP terminal.
