PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flatten a frequency characteristic, with respect to a thin electrodynamic type electric acoustic transducer. SOLUTION: The electrodynamic type electric acoustic transducer is provided with a first magnet 1, a second magnet 3 arranged obliquely above and outside the first magnet 1 to form a magnetic gap with the first magnet, a diaphragm 7 which is supported so as to extend through space in the above direction of the first magnet 1 and space in the under direction of the second magnet 3 and can vibrate vertically, and a planar voice coil 9 arranged between the first magnet 1 and the second magnet 3 and supported by the diaphragm 7 so as to have a parallel relation to a magnetic flux perpendicular to the oscillation direction of the diaphragm 7.
