PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent execution of useless communication, in a communication device which reads an original document, makes it into data and transmits the data to a prescribed destination. SOLUTION: A CPU in a multifunctioned device stores image data either representing read data generated by using a scanner or conversion data for which the read data are converted for storage, in a RAM in processing of performing facsimile transmission. Then, preview data for preview-displaying images based on the image data by a prescribed amount unit, are generated from the image data stored in the RAM, and the preview data are preview-displayed in a display part. When a transmission command is received after the preview display, the preview-displayed image data are transmitted to a destination specified beforehand as transmission data.
