The antibodies or microbial adherents inhibitors are administered to a patient suffering from strep throat to substantially prevent the adherents of colony-forming immunogens or haptens in the throat of the patient. Application of the antibodies should decrease the colonization of the oropharynx, and therefore decrease symptoms of the sore inflamed throat and ultimately decrease the need for antibiotics.
