PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric double-layer capacitor coping with a requested pitch between lead terminals of positive and negative electrodes. SOLUTION: In the electric double-layer capacitor for which a laminate cell 9 is housed between a metal case 1 and a blind cylindrical insulating case 4 incorporating a first lead terminal 2 and a second lead terminal 3, notched parts 4a and 4b are provided on the pull-out parts of the first lead terminal 2 and second lead terminal 3 of the blind cylindrical insulating case 4.
