PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which a dedicated cam needs to be rotated to apply tension to a belt in a configuration capable of varying the tension, and it is difficult to make a mechanism simple and compact.SOLUTION: A belt conveyance device has moving members 66, 85 capable of sliding and moving so as to change the position of a process member needed for image formation. As the moving members 66, 85 move to change the position of the process member, tension applying means 700 receives force from the moving members, and tension applying means moves a tension roller 15 from a separation position to an abutting position with the force received from the moving members.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
