PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of carrier transfer while avoiding a development failure in image development by a two-component development system.SOLUTION: A discharging light emitting part 44 can emit discharging light to a first discharging region 413 on an effective outer peripheral surface 410 of a photoreceptor 41. The first discharging region 413 ranges from a part of a magnetic brush contact region 411 on the effective outer peripheral surface 410 to a region between the magnetic brush contact region 411 and a toner image transfer position 412. A discharging light control part controls lighting-on/-off of the discharging light emitting part 44 according to whether a density of a toner image on the first discharging region 413 falls below a predetermined degree.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
