PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of blowing out hot air of specified temperature within a short period of time when a heating starting time comes.SOLUTION: An air conditioner in this preferred embodiment comprises a freezing cycle, temperature detecting means for detecting a freezing cycle temperature, control means for controlling the freezing cycle on the basis of temperature detected by the temperature detecting means. The control means sets an operation frequency range defined by a specified upper limit frequency and a lower limit frequency in respect to an operation frequency of a compressor at a preheating operation for driving the freezing cycle prior to a heating starting time set by a user and changes the operation frequency of the compressor within an operation frequency range defined by the operation frequency of the compressor in such a way that the freezing cycle temperature may become in an operation temperature range while an operation of the compressor is being continued during the preheating operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
