PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rare earth magnet which improves a coercive force, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a rare earth magnet, comprises: a step C of obtaining a molding body by applying hot processing for giving an anisotropy to a sinter body of an Nd-Fe-Co-B-M composition (where M is Ti, Zr, Cr, Mn, Nb, V, Mo, W, Ta, Si, Al, Ge, Ga, Cu, Ag, or Au; Nd is larger than 12 atom% and is equal to 35 atom% or less; Nd:B (atomic fraction ratio) is in a range of 1.5:1 to 3:1; Co is in the range of 0 to 12 atom%; M is in the range of 0 to 3 atom%; and a remaining part is Fe); and a step D of heat-processing by a temperature that is less than a fusion point of the molding body and is equal to the fusion point of an L-Cu-Ni-Al alloy or more in a state where an L-Cu-Ni-Al alloy 2 (in a formula, the L indicates lanthanoid) of 50 wt.% or more of the molding body 1 is brought into contact with a surface of the molding body 1 to be present.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
