The present invention relates to a method for managing radio resources and an access point (AP) using the same. The method for managing radio resources according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a monitoring step in which an AP monitors the current state of operating channel in use and judges a using state of radio resources for the operating channel; and a control step in which in response to the judged using state of radio resources, the AP changes a frequency of the operating channel or performs a hand-over for a terminal connected to the AP to a neighboring AP.
