The method involves decomposing data content into packets according to alternance of preset paths. Each packet is associated with a path between source and destination nodes (101, 102). A given packet is transmitted in a given time interval and on a given path by performing verification whether the given packet is available, and by performing another verification whether one packet is transmitted in time interval before the given time interval and on another path before the given path. The given packet is transmitted in the time interval and on the given path if the verifications are positive. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for receiving data content transmitted by a source node (2) a computer program comprising a set of instructions for performing a data content transmitting method and/or a data content receiving method (3) a storage medium comprising a set of instructions for performing a data content transmitting method and/or a data content receiving method (4) a source node for transmitting data content toward a destination node (5) a destination node for receiving data content transmitted by a source node.
