A pixel array, display device and display method. The pixel array comprises a plurality of subpixels arranged in a row direction and a column direction, and the plurality of subpixels are defined by a plurality of data wires (122) and a plurality of gate lines (111) mutually crossing. A data wire (1221) extends in the row direction, and the gate line (111) extends in the column direction, wherein each row of subpixels comprises a plurality of repeat units sequentially arranged, the repeat unit comprising subpixels having three different colors. For each column of subpixels, any two adjacent subpixels have different colors, wherein each of the subpixels has length L in the row direction and height H in the column direction, and the length is less than or equal to the height. In the any two adjacent subpixels in each of the columns of subpixels, a next row of subpixels shift, in the row direction, distance D with respect to a previous row of subpixels, -L < D < 0 or 0 < D < L. The number of subpixels of the pixel array in the row direction is greater than that of conventional pixels, thus increasing horizontal direction resolution, enabling an increase of transverse screen display content, and further improving screen quality.
