PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system capable of stabilizing transfer efficiency by eliminating the fluctuation of the surface potential of an intermediate transfer medium in the case of using a constant-voltage power source as a primary transfer voltage power source. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with a latent image carrier 21, plural developing devices 23Y, 23M, 23C and 23K, a primary transfer part R1 transferring a toner image successively developed with different color toner to the intermediate transfer medium 41, a primary transfer bias applying power source 126 for applying bias at the primary transfer part, and a secondary transfer part R2 transferring the full color toner image superposed and transferred on the intermediate transfer medium to recording paper. In the device, the constant-voltage power source is used as the primary transfer bias applying power source, and the electrification potential of a latent image carrier by an electrifying means 22 is fixed at least for each color toner and the gradation of the image is adjusted by adjusting the quantity of exposing light L to an image part. |
