The invention relates to a cosmetic agent containing the following, each of which is based on the weight of the cosmetic agent: a) 0.0001 to 20 wt.% of a bioactive substance selected from the group consisting of i) L-carnitine and/or salts thereof and/or derivatives thereof; ii) 2-furanone, in particular pantolactone, iii) taurine and/or salts thereof; iv) vitamins, provitamins, or vitamin precursors, in particular nicotinamide, biotin, pantothenic acid, panthenol, and tocopherol, and/or derivatives thereof; v) ubiquinone (coenzyme Q10); vi) ectoine; vii) allantoin; viii) plant extracts, in particular from echinacea or moringa plants; ix) xanthine, in particular caffeine, theophylline, and theobromine; x) flavonoids, in particular flavonols; xi) bisabolol; vii) creatine, xiii) amino acids, in particular glycine and/or L-arginine, and xiv) mixtures thereof, and b) 0.0001 to 30 wt.% of methionylmethionine, wherein the agent has a viscosity of maximally 5,000 mPas (determined using a Haake rotational viscometer VT 550 with a measuring element MVII at 20 °C and 7.2 s-1). The cosmetic agent with methionylmethionine and the specified bioactive substance exhibits a positive effect on skin, hair, and hair follicles. |
