Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for estimating a battery state. The apparatus for estimating battery state collects vibration information from an acceleration sensor signal of a battery and can estimate battery damages caused by the vibration through accumulated battery impulse after calculating the accumulated battery impulse through the vibration information.
