PURPOSE:To put connection display bits of units in a fixed connection state by updating connection display bits of a transmission-side unit into an disconnection state and further by updating connection display bits, corresponding to a reception side unit, into a connection state when a unit number is assigned. CONSTITUTION:Information of unit 64 of unit number ''4'' supplied with transmission-side address number ''0'' is transferred to unit 63 of unit number ''3'' supplied with reception-side address number ''2'', and address number/unit number conversion information of unit number ''4'' of the transmission-side unit is transferred to address number/unit number conversion information of unit number ''3'' of the reception-side unit, so that bit V of unit number ''4'' of the transmission side will be set to zero for a disconnection. Then, inter-unit information can be converted without interrupting the service of the system. |
