PURPOSE:To greatly damp vibration and noise in the driving of an electromagnetic injection valve provided in the mixture making passage of an engine, by fitting a vibration-damping solid material of low hardness around the injection valve. CONSTITUTION:A vibration-damping material 12 is fitted between the peripheral surface of a fuel injection valve 1 and the iside surface of a holder 3. Since the direction of supporting of the injection valve 1 by the vibration-damping material 12 perpendicularly intersects that of main vibration of the valve in its driving, the vibration suffers a hysteresis loss due to the shearing strain of the surface layer of the vibration-damping material so that the vibration is damped. For that reason, the noise outside the holder 3 is reduced by about 10dB from that in a conventional system. |
