PURPOSE:To improve the operation efficiency of a spinning machinery, by driving the package transfer conveyor placed at the center of the spinning machinery frame under specific condition according to the number count of the spun yarn. CONSTITUTION:In the case of spinning a spun yarn having small yarn number count which necessitates a long time for forming a full package, the package transfer conveyor 17 is usually stopped. When the auto-doffer 20 reaches the position corresponding to the full package, and if there is no package at the corresponding position on the conveyor 17, the doffing operation is carried out, and if there is a package P, the doffing is retained and the auto-doffer 20 is made to continue the running. In the case of spinning a yarn having large yarn number count necessitating a short time for the formation of full package, the conveyor 17 is driven constantly. When there is no package P at the position corresponding to the full package in the doffing with the auto-doffer 20, the conveyor 17 is temporally stopped to carry out the doffing, and if there is a package P, the conveyor is driven until it reaches a position free from package P, when the doffing is carried out. |
