A double flange (1, 2), which is designed to, jointly with another identical double flange (1', 2'), by means of bolts (5), join to each other two pipe ends (3, 3') having two end collars (4, 4'). Said double flange is composed of two identical but also complementary halves (1, 2 and 1', 2' respectively), which each may be brought onto and around its pipe end (3 and 3' respectively) in a radial direction or in a radial as well as an axial direction and in that position preliminarily, already before a complete joining has been accomplished, lock each other, the work with the two double flanges and the joining of the pipe ends being facilitated. |
