The system has a transmitter, a receiver and a transmission line interconnecting them. Two carriers with a 90 deg. phase difference modulate an in-phase(I) channer and a quadrature channel data signals. The transmitter has a DC offset source which adds an offset to eitherof the two channels before modulation. In the receiver demodulation is obtain through synchronous detections for two receiving sigmals, representing the data signals, by using a leakage carrier. The leakage carrier is created due to the offset and is included in the transmitted signal.
