In the case of known spectacles which signal the place where they are to be found, the signal receiver is activated even when the spectacles are put on, as a result of which the life of the battery is impaired. The nose arm 1 is integrated into the electrical switching circuit for supplying the signal receiver 3 with voltage, and the voltage supply of the signal receiver is activated by taking off the spectacles. By means of the arrangement, the life of the battery is prolonged. <IMAGE>
