To ensure the pressure-tight enclosure of a solenoid drive relative to a valve, there is provided at least one rolling diaphragm, the outer edge of which is secured in the solenoid housing and the inner edge of which is secured to the solenoid plunger in such a manner that, during the plunger stroke, the diaphragm can roll on the plunger or on a bounding surface in the solenoid housing. The enclosure is characterised by small fitting size and very small working surfaces and is therefore unaffected by obtrusive forces.
