PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pattern display method and a device reducing the boresome feeling of a player caused by a 'blank' pattern and increasing the anticipation of the player for 'hit'. SOLUTION: The pattern display device 20 of a game machine has a plurality of pattern display areas 21-23. The pattern display areas 21-23 comprise main patterns having eight numerals 30 of 0-7, for example, and trump patterns 40 and sub-patterns 50 having small trump patterns 51-54, and the main patterns 30 and the sub-patterns 50 are combined and displayed. A standby state can be attained when the sub-patterns 50 coincide even if the main patterns 30 do not coincide. |
