PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate problems in the fitting of a lid for a simple container being suitable for heating by a microwave oven, which comprises a simple food container main body, comprising an internal container wherein a thin plastic sheet is integrally molded, and an edge frame of an expanded plastic, and wherein an extension section extending downward from the distal end of the upper peripheral edge of the internal container is formed, and a heat shielding space is formed between the internal container and the edge frame by heat-welding the distal end of the extension section to the edge frame, and a lid member which has a peripheral edge section extending downward from the outer periphery, and is placed on the food simple container main body. SOLUTION: An engaging section 14 is provided on the external surface of the extension section extending downward from the distal end of the upper peripheral edge of the internal container 1. Then, an engaging section 44 is provided on the internal surface of the peripheral edge section which extends downward on the outer periphery of the lid member 4. When the lid member 4 is placed on the container main body 5, the engaging section provided on the internal surface of the peripheral edge section of the lid member is engaged with the engaging section provided on the external surface of the extension section which extends downward from the distal end of the upper peripheral edge of the internal container. |
