THERMOLUMINESCENT SILICON DETECTOR FOR BETA AND GAMMA RADIOACTIVE RADIATION MEASURING

摘要

The design concerns the thermoluminescence silicon detector for measurement of radioactive beta and gamma radiation, whose binding agent is silicon rubber in the quantity of 10 to 60 percent with filling agent of calcium sulphate (CaSO4) doped by traces of dysprosium oxide (Dy) in the quantity of 40 to 90 percent by weight for measurement of gamma rays, or with 1 to 3 percent by weight of graphite for measurement of beta rays. Thermoluminescence silicon detectors can be used in the field of personal dosimetry, environment, research, industry, and especially for detection in radiotherapy.
