PURPOSE: To simplify the structure of a metal mold for forming a connector, and to form a number of connectors by one forming without trouble. CONSTITUTION: This connector connects two members P1 and P2 by fitting a head part 1 of a head 1 to a fitting part T formed on a first member P1, and fitting a leg part 2 in a mounting hole H opened in a second member P2. In the leg part 2, a bending allowable void 23 is formed extending from the tip to the base, and the leg part 2 is elastically narrowed to put the leg part 2 in the mounting hole H. Engagement projecting parts 22 are engaged with the mounting hole H by resilience of the leg part 2 in the completely inserted position, and the leg part 2 is fitted to the second member P2. The head part 1 is provided with a lightening hole 15 formed to be communicated with the bending allowable void 23 with such dimensions that an undercut part is not formed in the communicating part 16 with the bending allowable void 23.
