Lacquer system (I) comprises: (i) at least one linear polymer as a film builder; and (ii) 5-50 wt% at least one cpd. of formula R1-CO-O-R2-O-OC -R3-CO-O-R2-O-OC-R1 (I) and/or R1-CO-O-R2-O-OC -R3-CO-O-R4-O-OC-R5 (II) of average molar mass 300-5000 as adhesion-reducing plasticiser. In the formulae, R1,R5 = 5-18C aliphatic gp. pref. alkyl; R3 = (un)satd. 4-10C (cyclo)aliphatic or aromatic gp.; and R2,R4 = (un)satd. 2-40C alkyl- or polyether. The mixed lacquer system ready for use has a dry materials content of 5-50 wt%, the remainder being organic, inactive solvent, and is a sprayable homogeneous soln. or dispersion. Also claimed are (i) the prodn. of a film-like, removable, reprocessible coating (II) on an object esp. a lacquered vehicle comprising applying (I) onto an object and drying to produce a film with uncrosslinked, soluble polymers; (ii) a partly or completely coated object produced as above; and (iii) the reprocessing of (II) comprising comminuting the coating, washing with water, removing the water, dissolving in a solvent of b.pt. above 100 deg.C under increased pressure, diluting the soln. and purifying, quantitatively analysing the purified soln. and mfg. a lacquer system (I) by adding any materials which are not present. USE/ADVANTAGE - (I) is used in the coating of objects, esp. lacquered vehicles. A weather-resistant coating is produced which protects the covered object from corrosion and mechanical effects. The coating can be removed by hand after a period of time without damaging the substrate with reduced environmental loading.
