PURPOSE: To provide a packaging container having stable dimensions which is easy in production and sufficiently rigid enough in the shape to be conveniently gripped with the hands without risks of deformation and/or cracks and also without substantial increase of the material and cost. CONSTITUTION: Strengthening or stiffening elements 20, 21 formed through plastic deformation of a wall material are disposed along a part or the whole of the length of the vertical edges 14 as continuous or continual inside projections, at least at one of the side walls 11, 12 in the zone of two or more vertical edges 14 partitioning the side walls 11, 12 of a packaging container 10.
