The tent frame consists of centrally divided, pluggable tubes, which are combined to form two gables, interconnected by horizontal and oblique tubes with plug-connector fittings. The latter are formed by a plate and lug for the ridge tube, but otherwise by a short tube for retaining an angled lug. The frame tubes (1-4) are of light metal or plastics, while the plug-connector fittings (6,7) are of steel. The fitting parts are drilled on site and secured by rivets. If plastics tubes are used, metal tubular parts are provided on site, pushed over the tubes and riveted. The lug retaining tubular parts may be fixed to a tube clip.
