PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel animal feed of a high nutritive value and further provide an animal feed that can be used as a stress-dissolving agent for animal, a meat quality-improving agent for domestic meat animal, an egg-laying feed for domestic poultry and an animal feces-deodorizing agent. SOLUTION: The animal feed according to this invention includes a material originating from wheat young leaves. The material originating from wheat young leaves may be prepared from the wheat leaves collected until the ear emergence time. The material originating from wheat young leaves may be subjected to an enriching treatment for γ-aminobutyric acid. The animal feed according to this invention includes at least one selected from the group consisting of oligosaccharides and lactic acid bacteria and the material originating from wheat young leaves. |
