<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a rubber compact with an artificial turf at lower cost by bridging rubber cement and pulverized rubber on the back of an artificial turf with the action of a vulcanizing agent and a vulcanization accelerator for jointing the artificial turf and the rubber to each other with constant strength. CONSTITUTION:An artificial turf 3 with the base section 2 thereof directed up is placed in a metal mold (lower mold) 5. Then, 100 weight parts of pulverized rubber 6 with an addition, for example, of approximately 5 weight parts of a vulcanizing agent and approximately 2 weight parts of a thiazole vulcanization accelerator, is applied onto the artificial turf 3. Thereafter, the artificial turf 3 and the pulverized rubber 6 are heated at the temperature of approximately 160 deg.C+ or -5 deg.C under pressure with a metal mold (upper mold), thereby molding the turf 3 and rubber 6 to the predetermined shape. Furthermore, the base section 2 of the artificial turf 3 and the pulverized rubber 6 are chemically bonded, and the turf 3 and rubber 4 are concurrently bonded with constant strength free from irregularity. According to the aforesaid construction, a separate process for bonding the artificial turf 3 to the rubber 4 can be eliminated, and a less expensive rubber compact with an artificial turf can be obtained.</p> |
