The pressure relief system (212) has a pair of rupture disks (100 and 102) connected in series to a pressure vessel that contains refrigerant. The pressure relief system (212) allows the changing of the primary rupture disk (100) while the vessel is pressurized without the loss of overpressure protection.</p>
