Unit turning up edges of long, slender plastic panels forming e.g. U-sections

This unit turns up the edges of plastic panels, especially of clear acrylic sheets, forming a U-section. Note that the unit (1) is symmetrical and has a multi-section, horizontally-mounted table (4), with a heated, rigid table beam (5). Along its sides (6) there are upwardly-pivoting, heated side sections (7). Above the table (4) and table beam (5) is a heated, vertically-moving central beam (8). Between the table beam (5) and side sections (7), there are empty spaces (9), where longitudinal resistance wires (10) heat up the bending zones (11) of the profile (3). At the outer edges (12) of the two side sections (7), horizontally-moving, opposingly-directed units (13) centre the plastic sheet (2).
