PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle used by being mounted on the mouth part of a plastic bottle such as a PET bottle so as to allow the bottle to be easily held with one hand. SOLUTION: The front end of a handle body 11 is provided with a short cylindrical part whose inner periphery is fitted with a lip, and the handle body 11 has a built-in locking plate 12 with a built-in spring member for a backward urge. A locking-plate operating knob 13 is mounted so as to freely rotate about a shaft 25. A lid member for opening/closing the mouth part is mounted on the side of the top surface of the handle body 11 so as to freely rotate about the shaft 25. The cap of the bottle 1 is removed in order to allow the lower end of the cap to be left, the short cylindrical part of the handle body 11 is inserted into the mouth part for the purpose of permitting the locking plate 12 to be press-moved forward by the operating knob 13 and engaged with the under surface side of the cap receiving flange of the mouth part, and the cap receiving flange and the lower end of the cap are held for fixation by the lip and the end 12a of the locking plate 12. |
