The differential bevel pinions (7,8) are rotatably mounted in a housing (2) on which they are axially supported and which engage with axle drive bevel gears (10,11) also supported on the housing. At least one arched thrust washer is positioned between one of the bevel pinions and the housing. The thrust washer has radial extensions which are spring mounted on the housing. The washer has an annular basic body in the shape of a spherical segment from the periphery of which the extension pieces in the form of radially and equidistantly spaced apart fingers.
