PURPOSE: Provided is a holder for adjusting the location of an electrode in an electric furnace which automatically controls decline of the electrode so that it helps to improve workability in lowering the electrode. CONSTITUTION: The holder for adjusting the location of the electrode in the electric furnace comprises the parts of: a roll case(142) which includes a channel to cover a penetration hole; a workable cylinder(144) which is placed at one side of an arm; a movable body(146) which is connected to the workable cylinder to reciprocate with multiple slide sides formed at the front edge; a drive tool(148) which is placed at the proper place of the movable body; a rotation roll(150) which rotates forward or reverse as the operation of the drive tool; multiple movable members(160) which are touched to the electrode as the movable body reciprocates; multiple support rolls(152) which are placed in the same slide direction and angle as the rotation roll; a tap for detecting location(156) which is placed in the movable body; a detection sensor(154) which detects the tap for detecting location; a holder support roll(182) which shows the same slide direction and angle as the rotation roll; and a working member(180) which is fixed at the roll case by a hinge.
