PURPOSE: An auxiliary appliance for a face mask is provided to help the face mask for the positive pressure breath to be accurately and closely positioned over the face of a patient. CONSTITUTION: The auxiliary appliance used to a face mask for the positive pressure breath comprises a hollow shaped fixing part(65) made of rigid material to be fixed to the face mask; a handle part(67) connected with the fixing part and designed so that an operator can fit his/her hands; and a connector(66) for connecting the fixing part with the handle part. Thereby, the face mask is able to be closely contact over the face of a patient by applying force to the fixing part with the operator fitting his hands in the handle part. Additionally, devices for adjusting a distance and an angle between the fixing part and the handle part are provided.
