PURPOSE: To prevent environmental pollution and reduce costs by rationalizing operations by establishing consistency in a treating process for specially controlled industrial waste, waste asbestos or the like. CONSTITUTION: Waste asbestos or the like discharged from an operation process at a factory handling specially controlled industrial waste is treated so as no to be scattered, and waste asbestos (pneumatically applied asbestos) produced in an asbestos removal work in a demolition.repair work of buildings or cars is double-packed in a plastic bag at a site and loaded on a wastes transportation car to transport it to an intermediate disposal area, where the waste asbestos is melted in a melting furnace (electric resistance melting furnace) at a temperature of 1500 deg.C or higher to make it completely harmless and solidified. And the solidified matters made harmless are buried in a least controlled landfill site adjacent to the disposal area. Thus consistency is provided in the rationalization of operation so that costs can be sufficiently reduced. |
